About
The Wise Marketing (www.thewisemarketing.com)
Operated by Wisework Media Private Limited
Effective Date: 12 August 2026 · Version 1.0
An AI-native publication on marketing, brand, and the business of attention.
The Wise Marketing is a publication about the ideas, people, and platforms shaping how brands reach people today. We cover marketing, advertising, the creator economy, media technology, and the adjacent shifts that quietly move the industry — written for operators, founders, and curious observers who want signal over noise.
It is part of Wisework Media, India’s AI-native media portfolio company — a house of brands built on intelligence, editorial integrity, and technology. The Wise Marketing is one of several AI-first properties in that portfolio.
We are built differently. We use artificial intelligence to help us move faster, but in normal operation every article that appears here is read, verified, and approved by a human editor before it goes live. AI helps us process volume; humans make the call on what is true, fair, and worth publishing — and we tell you when AI has been involved, every time.
We are not a wire service. We are not a blog. We are a small, deliberate publication trying to do one thing well: explain marketing to the people who do marketing.
Our Mission
To be the most trusted, most useful publication for people working in marketing in India and across the AI-first economy — by combining the speed of AI-assisted production with the judgement, taste, and accountability of human editors.
What We Cover
Our editorial beats are deliberately focused. We would rather go deep on a few things than shallow on many.
- Marketing & brand strategy — how brands are built, scaled, and occasionally broken.
- Advertising & media — the platforms, formats, and measurement systems that move money around the industry.
- Creator economy & influence — how attention is produced, packaged, and priced.
- MarTech & AI in marketing — the tooling shift redrawing every marketing team’s org chart.
- Business of media — how publishers, platforms, and agencies are adjusting to AI-shaped distribution.
- Voices from the industry — invited practitioner viewpoints and guest pieces, clearly labelled.
How We Work
Our editorial process has three stages. Every article passes through all three before publication.
1. Research and sourcing
We monitor a curated set of licensed news feeds, industry reports, and primary sources. For news summaries and explainers we draw on a commercial subscription to the GNews news API, whose terms permit commercial use of the API data. The underlying articles remain their publishers’ property; our published pieces are original editorial works produced through the human-edited transformation process described in our Editorial Policy. We credit source publications and do not misrepresent the source of any material.
2. AI-assisted drafting, human review
We use AI tools — large language models, image generation systems, translation engines — under paid commercial licences to help draft summaries, explainers, and illustrations. In normal operation, no article is published directly from an AI output: a human editor verifies facts, checks sources, tightens structure, removes errors, and signs off on every published piece. Our platform also includes an automated-publishing capability, currently disabled; where it is used, any automatically-published article that is not reviewed or edited by a human editor within a defined review window (currently 24 hours) is automatically withdrawn from publication. In all cases, no article escapes human editorial review. Articles drafted with AI assistance appear under the byline “The Wise Desk”, our disclosed AI-assisted editorial collective operating under human oversight. Full detail is in our AI Content Disclosure.
3. Human-authored originals
Alongside AI-assisted desk coverage, we publish original pieces — interviews, analysis, essays, and reported features — written by named human authors under their own byline.
“The Wise Desk” on a byline means: AI helped draft this, a human editor verified and approved it. A named byline means: a named human wrote and owns it. We will never blur this line.
Our Editorial Standards
We hold ourselves to six operating principles, set out in full in our Editorial Policy.
| Principle | What it means in practice |
|---|---|
| Accuracy over speed | If we cannot verify a fact, we do not publish the sentence. We would rather be late and right than first and wrong. |
| Disclosure, always | AI assistance, sponsorships, partnerships, and conflicts of interest are disclosed on the article, at the top, in plain language. |
| Independence of editorial from commercial | Paid placements are labelled and never appear inside editorial content. Advertisers do not influence coverage. |
| Fair treatment of subjects | People and companies we write about get a reasonable opportunity to respond when a piece makes material claims about them. |
| Corrections are prompt and visible | When we get something wrong, we correct it openly and mark the article. |
| Human accountability | Every article has a human editor accountable for it. There is always a real person to write to. |
A Word on AI
AI is not an accident in our workflow. It is a deliberate choice. We believe a small, well-run editorial team augmented by AI can produce better, faster, more useful coverage than either a pure-human newsroom or a pure-AI content farm. But AI without disclosure is dishonest, and AI without human accountability is reckless. So we disclose, and we keep a human editor accountable for every piece, every time.

How We Make Money
We are building a commercial publication, but at launch we are founder-funded and pre-revenue — none of the revenue lines below are live yet. As and when we introduce them, each will be clearly labelled and kept strictly separate from editorial:
- Paid placements, always labelled “Sponsored” or “Paid Partnership”.
- Display advertising, always labelled as advertising.
- Future subscription, licensing, or premium access products, if we launch them.
Our editorial coverage decisions are not for sale. An advertiser or sponsor cannot pay for favourable coverage, suppress unfavourable coverage, or be briefed on upcoming editorial stories concerning them.
