Refund & Cancellation Policy
The Wise Marketing (www.thewisemarketing.com)
Operated by Wisework Media Private Limited
Effective Date: 12 August 2026 · Version 1.0
PLEASE READ BEFORE PAYMENT. This Refund and Cancellation Policy forms part of the Terms of Service of www.thewisemarketing.com. By making a payment on the Website you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not make a payment.
1. Scope
This Policy governs cancellations and refunds for all paid services offered on www.thewisemarketing.com(the “Website”) by Wisework Media Private Limited (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”), including:
- Paid Placements through the PR Self-Publish marketplace (sponsored articles, press releases, promotional Content);
- Display advertising packages booked directly through the Website;
- Subscription, paywall, or premium content access (where offered);
- Any other paid digital service expressly offered on the Website.
Capitalised terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.
2. Nature of Services
All services offered on the Website are digital, intangible, time-sensitive editorial services. Once production, publication, or scheduling has commenced, the work product cannot be returned, recalled, or re-used. This Policy reflects that nature.
3. Cancellation Window
3.1 Paid Placements (PR Self-Publish): You may cancel a Paid Placement and request a full refund only within two (2) hours of payment confirmation, provided that:
- the Content has not been queued for publication;
- editorial review has not commenced; and
- you submit the cancellation request in writing to founders@wiseworkmedia.com from the email address used at checkout.
3.2 Beyond the 2-hour window, the Paid Placement is treated as commenced and is non-refundable, except in the limited circumstances set out in Section 5.
3.3 Display advertising and subscription services: cancellation rights, if any, will be set out at the point of purchase. In the absence of a specific cancellation right, payments are non-refundable once activated.
4. No-Refund Scenarios
Without prejudice to your statutory rights, refunds are not available in the following situations:
- the cancellation window in Section 3 has expired;
- the Content has been queued for publication, scheduled, or published;
- the Content has been declined, edited, labelled, withdrawn, or removed by us for breach of the Terms of Service, the Acceptable Use Policy, the ASCI Code, or Applicable Law;
- the Content has been removed at your post-publication request;
- the Content has been removed pursuant to a court order, statutory direction, or valid takedown notice;
- you have failed to provide assets, approvals, or information required to publish, despite reasonable follow-up;
- the placement has gone live and performance (traffic, engagement, conversions) does not meet your subjective expectations — we do not guarantee outcomes.
5. When Refunds Are Available
Subject to verification, we will issue a refund in the following situations:
- Service failure attributable to us: where we are unable to publish a Paid Placement due to a fault on our part and an alternative date acceptable to you cannot be agreed within 7 calendar days, you are entitled to a full refund.
- Duplicate payment: where the same transaction has been charged more than once due to a technical error, the duplicate amount will be refunded in full on verification with the payment provider.
- Failed transaction: where your account has been debited but the transaction failed at our end and the service has not been delivered, the amount will be refunded in full.
- Statutory entitlement: where Applicable Law mandates a refund.
We may, at our sole discretion, offer credits for future use in lieu of a cash refund. You are not obliged to accept credits.
6. Refund Process and Timelines
6.1 To request a refund, write to founders@wiseworkmedia.com with:
- the order or invoice reference number;
- the date of the transaction;
- the payment method used;
- the reason for the refund request and any supporting evidence.
6.2 We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and communicate a decision within 7 working days of receipt of all required information.
6.3 Approved refunds will be processed within 5 to 10 working days from approval. Refunds are credited back to the original payment instrument used at checkout. Bank-side credit timelines may add 2 to 7 additional working days, which are outside our control.
6.4 Refunds are processed in Indian Rupees. For payments made in foreign currency, refund amounts are converted at the prevailing exchange rate on the date of refund processing. Foreign exchange variance, payment gateway fees, and bank charges may reduce the net amount received and are not separately reimbursed.
6.5 Where a transaction is reversed by chargeback, dispute, or reversal initiated through the payment provider or your card issuer, we reserve the right to offset associated fees, suspend or terminate the relevant Account, and pursue recovery of any amounts written back.
7. Goods and Services Tax
7.1 Tax invoices reflect Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the applicable rate, once the Company is GST-registered.
7.2 Where a refund is processed, GST will be reversed in accordance with the GST law, and a credit note will be issued for the relevant invoice.
8. Free-of-Cost and Editorial Coverage
Editorial coverage published by us at our own initiative is not a paid service. No refunds, credits, or compensation are available in respect of such coverage.
9. Modification or Discontinuation of Services
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time. If we discontinue a paid service for which you have made an upfront payment for an undelivered period, we will provide a pro-rata refund for the unutilised portion.
10. Disputes and Grievances
If you are dissatisfied with our handling of a refund request, please raise a grievance in accordance with our Grievance Redressal Policy. You retain all rights and remedies available under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including approaching the National Consumer Helpline (1915) and the e-Daakhil portal.
11. Updates to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The Effective Date at the top indicates the most recent revision. The Policy in force on the date of payment governs that transaction.
